Probe not connected

Connect to a debug probe before flashing.

FLASH_PROBE_NOT_CONNECTED

Symptoms

  • The flash button reports no probe is connected.
  • You were connected earlier, but the session dropped in the background.

Likely causes

  • Flash was attempted before connecting to a device.
  • The earlier connection was lost (probe unplugged, SDK restarted) and the UI state caught up only when you pressed flash.

How to fix it

  1. Connect first

    Select your probe in the footer and connect; wait until the state shows connected.

  2. Then flash

    Start the flash once connected. If the connection dropped by itself, see the device disconnected guide for root causes.
